PRAYER TO JESUS THE LISTENER
Jesus the Listener
I turn to You
because I need You to watch and love me.
You know my joys
and my sufferings,
my struggles and my defeats.
May Your merciful glance support me in perseverance
in accepting everything for your sake.
I will not leave You without saying like the Psalmist:
“I love the Lord,
because He listens to the cry of my prayer.
Toward me He bend a ear on the day
when I invoked Him” (Sal 116:1-2) .
I ask this through the infinite
merits of Your Passion and death.
